Founder and Principal Designer

Rachel earned her B.A. from UNC, Chapel Hill and then went on to earn her J.D. and practice juvenile and family law for several years.  She retired her law practice in 2016 to stay home with her daughter and son.

After building and remodeling her personal home, Rachel discovered her passion for interior design.  She began helping friends and family with their homes as well as taking courses to further her design skills and knowledge.

Here are a few of her favorite design tips:

​

- Don't be afraid to go BOLD.  Push yourself out of your comfort zone, especially in spaces you don't spend a lot of time.

​

-Take the time to make a plan. Never start anything without a plan.

​

- Mix textures, metals, finishes- it's not about matching, it's about complementing.

​

- Hire someone you trust, and then actually trust them.
